I. I am having this kind of day, for a few days now.
This is why you aren’t hearing a lot from me…I’ll be feeling a little more extroverted and generous with my words soon, I am sure.
II. This is a cool video from youtube that my younger son wanted me to see (a. my younger son and I shared a moment–yay! and b. wow, is this video ever cool!) It appears today’s post is in outline form…
Anyway, the video is the group Walk Off the Earth, covering the Gotye song “Somebody That I Used to Know,” and I think even without the extra coolness of all five of them playing one guitar simultaneously, I like their rendition better. Walk Off the Earth, Ladies and Gentlemen! (Click Play arrow below.)
Wow! Way to bring your mom into the current generation! I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED it! (Not your hiding out–but the picture was adorable–tell Joe I miss him!) Great post, great music, great picture–MADE MY DAY!!!!! (That and that I had a fight/discussion with Verizon that I either won or lost, haven’t figured out which, for sure, but Rachel was very nice. Oh, yes, and my bill is going down.)
What a cute kitty-pic! I can relate to his/her and your feelings. Hope you feel more like yourself soon… š
I LOVE that Gotye song, and I agree – this version is – dare I say it? – possibly better, agreed! Yay, thank you for introducing me to a great new version! I haven’t heard of this band – I want to listen to some of their other stuff now. Wonder if it’s as good as this?
I cannot comment on their other stuff. I went looking for them on bandcamp.com but I got interrupted (as I do,) and haven’t been back. I think they are pretty new. I love watching and listening to them, but sometimes they get stuck in my head and I need to go listen to happy bouncy music to clear my mood. Thanks for stopping in!
